My story

Meet Cosmo, a cute and easygoing 5-6 y/o, 15 lb mystery mix.  Background: Cosmo was brought in with two friends after being abandoned and forced to live on the streets. They were fed by neighbors for almost a year before we were called to help.   Personality: Cosmo warms up quickly around new people (treats are the way to his heart). Cosmo is sweet, calm, and good with all people and dogs. He loves belly rubs, snuggling up on his favorite humans, and playing with chew toys. Health: Cosmo is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. At some point, Cosmo may have been hit by a car, fracturing his leg. He has a little limp now, but the injury is healed and he gets around just fine. He still enjoys going for walks.   Training: Cosmo is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a dog door.  Ideal Home: Cosmo would love a doting family who will care for him the way every dog deserves, inside a comfortable and loving home. Cosmo would do great in a relaxed home with another calm canine companion who will respect his space. He would likely do just fine as an only pet. A secure, fenced-in yard is required to keep him safe.  Adoption Requirements: Cosmo’s adoption fee is $350.
