Poptart weighs 20 lbs. and was surrendered by her previous family to a local shelter. Her foster family describes her as a medium level activity goer and she doesn’t require long walks. The key to happiness for Poptart is to be where the people are and to nap someplace warm like in front of a fireplace. She loves treats! Poptart gets along well with other dogs; she doesn’t play much but may even cuddle with them once she gets to know them well. Introductions to other dogs should be done calmly, and she doesn’t like a new energetic dog right in her face jumping or barking at her. Poptart is potty trained and has done well with older children. She isn’t a fan of being picked up and prefers to get herself into a cozy spot ready to snuggle.
