My story

Roger is an exceptionally sweet and gentle boy. He came to Mayday completely shut down, and while he is considered special needs, he is very surprising! Roger has learned the routine of the rescue, including being housebroken. Roger loves to ride in the car and go on walks, although he is very happy to be home and play in the yard. Roger does well with other dogs, especially lower energy types that he can keep up with. He is still learning new things, which is where he surprises us - like playing with toys or puzzles or licky mats. Roger can be slow to warm up to people, but once he does, he is so loving. He loves to snuggle and be close to you. Roger was born with hydrocephalus, a condition of water on the brain. Currently, Roger is not on any medication or special treatment. He runs, plays, and eats just like any happy dog. It is essential to ensure he does not bump his head or neck. Otherwise, Roger is a healthy little boy. With a lot of patience and gentle guidance, this short stack is sure to win your heart just as he has ours. ##2061661##
