My story

Katniss is a sweet and affectionate, 60lb, German Shepherd who is looking for her forever home. She’s friendly with both humans and other dogs, making her an excellent companion for families or individuals who have other pets. Though she’s still learning some basics, like walking on a leash, she has an eager and quick-to-learn personality. She’s especially looking for an experienced and patient owner who can help her grow in confidence. With a nose that’s constantly on the go, Katniss loves to investigate her surroundings and find out who’s around. Katniss is a food lover through and through, so if you’ve got treats, you’ve got her heart. With the right guidance, Katniss has the potential to overcome her fears and become an even more well-rounded dog.
