My story

My name is Addie, and I am a 10-month-old LOVE BUG! I am literally the sweetest girl! My favorite activity is snuggling up next to my human friends, whether it’s on the couch, the sofa, or your lap! I also love to take long naps in the car, as car rides are one of my favorite pastimes! I would be a great travel companion for just about anyone – I just love to be with people! I am great on leash and on walks, and I LOVE all dogs! One of my favorite activities is playing with my dog friends at dog camp or at the dog park. My foster mom says, “Addie’s never met a dog she didn’t like!” I have lots of good puppy energy, so I still need a lot of exercise and training. So far, I’m getting straight A’s in Sit, Down, and Potty Training! I know how to patiently wait for my breakfast and dinner, and I just LOVE treats, so teaching me new things is easy. One of the things I’m working on is my barking – I have a lot to say! I’m working on being calm when visitors come over and when I hear new sounds that alert me to things outside. I’m learning! I’m a gentle and sweet girl who’s thriving with love and positive reinforcement. I’m looking for the perfect family to continue my training and exercise and to be patient with me as I learn. I’m a little too rough when playing with cats so a family with dogs or kids (or both) would be just the perfect fit!
