LaLa

My story

LaLa (also known as Lucy) is an amazing dog! She is certifiably great with children and other dogs. She has lived with children of all ages, and dogs of all sizes. She is very tolerant. LaLa/Lucy is approximately 3 - 4 years old and 67 lbs. She is crate-trained, and potty-trained. She is very strong on-leash and would be best in a home with a fenced in yard. We also think she would be happiest in a home with another dog to play with. LaLa is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. More on LaLa's backstory: she was originally found in October of 2023 in Meadowood Park in Speedway. The person who took her in had both dogs and children. Since LaLa was not spayed and the finder's dog was not neutered, the finder asked her older parents to care for LaLa. The finder eventually reached out to us and we placed her in a foster home. She was later adopted by an older woman with a private daycare. LaLa was GREAT with the children, but a bit much for the woman to handle without a fenced in yard. Unfortunately, the adopter recently fell and suffered an extensive injury, and she was no longer able to care for LaLa. She was devastated to return her, as LaLa is a wonderful dog.
