My story

Lola von Liebstadt is a beautiful, 6-8 month-old Shepherd mix. Lola is your perfect walking or running buddy. Nothing makes her happier than an adventure — whether that’s hiking up some mountains or walking to your favorite coffee shop. Lola is happy, happy, happy! She's happy to play, get some scratches, sit in your lap, give people kisses and soak up all the love you have, loving you even more in return. Oh, and she’s a star student! Lola knows sit, down, paw and being cute (the latter comes naturally). Lola isn’t just a bookworm; she also loves to play and romp with her fellow pups. Lola refuses to acknowledge a rainy day. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
