Prince *VIP*

My story

Meet Prince, a prince of an older puppy with an abundance of energy and a heart full of love. His playful spirit is awe inspiring, spreading joy to everyone around him. He`s a 47-pound social butterfly, always eager to make new friends. In a recent foster home he was friendly and playful with the other large dogs living there and even won over a small lady dog. But Prince is not just all play; he`s also a mellow cuddle bug who loves nothing more than to curl up next to you after a day full of adventures while you pet him. His affectionate nature and playful spirit make him a wonderful companion and he`ll lavish you with kisses. His curious nature and excitable personality make every day a new exploration. He loves toys, walks, and swimming (a new favorite!) and has already learned the down, sit, come, no and stay commands. He`s a healthy eater, enjoying vegetables and fruit. Prince still has a tendency to be a bit nippy and jumpy, a sign of his youthful enthusiasm so, even though he is friendly and playful with children, he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. He`s also quite needy, always seeking affection and companionship. He loves being close. Prince is smart and continuing to accept guidance to help him channel his energy and curiosity in a positive way. He has already learned a bit about house training and made great progress in a recent foster home but needs more practice in a permanent home environment. His leash walking skills have improved too and if he runs away while off leash, he`ll come back if you call him. Adopting Prince means welcoming a bundle of joy and love into your home. He`s waiting to share his boundless energy and affection with his forever family. Prince may be at the shelter on weekends and with his foster family during the week.
