My story

Ava might be a little shy at first, but give her some time (and maybe a snack or two), and she’ll be your best friend in no time. She’s the kind of dog who takes the “slow and steady wins the race” approach to making new pals—especially if you have food involved. If you’ve got treats, she’ll be like, “Okay, you’re my new favorite human. Let’s do this.” Ava is a total lovebug, just waiting for the right home to shower with affection. She absolutely adores kids and is likely to become their most loyal sidekick (as long as snacks are involved). In short, she’s ready to love, but she just needs a little patience... and maybe a pizza slice or two to seal the deal!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ava, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
