My story

Meet Athena, a stunning 5-year-old lab/pit bull mix with a sleek brown coat and a few adorable white spots. Athena is a sweet and loving dog who thrives on forming close bonds with her humans. While she can be a bit nervous around new people at first, don't let that fool you&#194&#151she warms up quickly once she feels safe and comfortable. Athena is playful, affectionate, and loves nothing more than some quality one-on-one time with her favorite people. She's a ball of energy when it comes to playtime! Whether it's chasing after her beloved ball or engaging in a game of tug of war, Athena is always up for fun. When she's not playing, she's a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up next to her humans. What Athena Needs: &#194&#149 A Calm, Patient Home: Athena may take a little time to warm up to new people, so she'd do best in a home with experienced dog owners who can give her the space and patience to adjust. Once she feels comfortable, her true loving personality shines through. &#194&#149 No Young Children: Athena isn't the best fit for homes with young children, as she prefers a quieter environment and may be overwhelmed by the fast movements and noise of little ones.
