Meet Deuce—The Two-Time Champ of Goofiness!Deuce is eligible to go to a foster home while he awaits his perfect family.If you’re looking for a dog with double the energy, double the personality, and double the mischief, then Deuce is your guy! This 2-year-old Husky is a staff and volunteer favorite, and it’s easy to see why—he’s got one blue eye, one brown eye, and about a million reasons to love him.Deuce was found as a stray in Lowell, and while we waited for his family to come claim him, he was busy winning everyone over with his boundless enthusiasm and top-tier zoomies. Sadly, no one came for him, but that just means he’s now on the hunt for a home that can keep up!True to his Husky nature, Deuce is a certified exercise machine—he needs an active home that will take him for long walks, hikes, jogs, and maybe even adventure marathons. If he doesn’t get his energy out? Well, let’s just say your couch might get rearranged. He’s super food-motivated and eager to learn, but he thrives with structure and training.Who can Deuce live with... Cats? Nope. Not on Deuce’s watch! Kids? Our dude will knock `em off their feet, so dog-savvy teens+ will be best. Dogs? We tried that, and it turns out food & toys are too cool to share, so single pet would be the best for him.If you’re a Husky-savvy human looking for a hilarious, high-energy adventure buddy, Deuce is ready to bring double the excitement and double the love into your life!Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays).
