My story

Tabitha von Bergheim is a beautiful, 18-month-old German Shepherd. Tabitha is one beautiful female who's always ready for some fun, so she’ll definitely enjoy an active home. A total, goofy love bug, Tabitha likes to lean on you and be petted all over. She’s very treat-motivated, knows her “Sit” command and takes treats gently. Tabitha comes out ready to start her walk and ready to explore. She meets dogs enthusiastically but will settle down before greeting them. She does great in playgroups, going in very comfortably and ready to explore. She is a great greeter off-leash and wants to be around playful, energetic dogs like herself. She really enjoys her time in the play yard with the dogs and the staff so, if you have an adventurous spirit and a life filled with activities, gorgeous Tabitha is asking that you apply for her! Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
