My story

Bill was just pulled from the euthanasia list at ACS in San Antonio. This sweet boy didn't deserve to be there and is one of the lucky ones to get a chance to be a Colorado dog. We can't wait to see this boy flourish outside the stressful shelter environment and Bill is already so loved in his San Antonio foster home doing great on car rides and cuddling on the couch like Netflix and Chill was invented by him.  In the shelter Bill showed sociability by coming over for affection with a wagging tail and tucked ears. He was easy to leash and walk outside where he seemed nervous with tucked ears. He displayed sociability greeting an adult female dog appropriately where both were nervous with tucked tails and tucked ears. Both dogs were able to co-exist, sniff the yard, receive affection from handlers, and easily returned to kennel. A note from Bill's Volunteer Dog Walker! I got to hang out with the sweetest mellow fellow in yellow today! Bill is a little shy at first, but the more love he gets, the more he comes out of his shell! He was a happy boy who didn't make a peep our whole walk! He does fantastic on the leash and never pulled! He loved people bird watching and smelling all the smells on our stroll. He is very gentle when taking treats, and was super calm the whole time we spent together. He also loved getting his back scratched. This sweet and gentle boy runs on love and sunshine! Bill has already made his way up from San Antonio, Texas to Colorado and is being fostered in Denver! ##2265187##
