My story

Legacy is 4 years old, 36 lbs. MUST HAVE ANOTHER DOG Meet Legacy, a 35-pound lab mix with a heart of gold. Despite enduring mistreatment in the past, Legacy has maintained his gentle and loving nature. While it may take him a couple of days to warm up to new people, he is the epitome of a kind and well-mannered companion. Legacy has an endearing personality that shines through once he feels safe and secure in his surroundings. Although he may initially cower due to past experiences, he is easily handled and responds positively to patient and caring individuals. With time, patience, and understanding, Legacy's trust will blossom, and he will reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection. Legacy LOVES other dogs! They bring out his confidence and help him feel more at ease. Legacy is crate trained. He will eat, sleep and stay in his crate you're away. It's essential for him to have this designated safe area available at all times. He is house trained & picks up quickly on your routine. He is a well-mannered house guest who will respect your home and its rules. It would be ideal for him to find a home with a fenced yard. This added safety measure will help prevent any potential flight risks when encountering unfamiliar people or situations. A secure yard will give him the freedom to explore and play while offering you peace of mind.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Legacy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
