My story

Lily is a stunning 3-year-old, 63-pound Akita mix with striking blue eyes and a heart full of love. She has a calm, quiet temperament and loves following her foster mom around.This gentle girl is patient, sweet, and easygoing. She walks beautifully on a leash and waits for her walks to do her business. Lily is great with other dogs and kids. She got along great with the 2 cats in her foster home, but did not like the more affectionate cat in her adoptive home that didn’t work out. She loves going on adventures and spending time with her person, so she’d like someone home a lot.Lily is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished for the amazing dog she is. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
