My story

Don’t let the gray on her muzzle fool you—Amelia is a 9-year-old terrier mix with the heart of a puppy and the soul of a best friend. She was originally surrendered at the end of 2024, adopted in May, and sadly returned just two weeks later for being “too energetic.” But that energy is just part of her charm!Amelia is a 55-pound sweetheart who loves walks, is gentle with treats, and gives the most endearing paw shakes. She’s mellow at heart and forms strong bonds quickly once she feels safe and loved. While she enjoys zoomies in the yard and a good game of fetch, she’s also a cuddle bug who wants nothing more than a home to call her own.She’d do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all your love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, affectionate companion to brighten your days and warm your couch, Amelia is your girl.
