I’m Doby, a gentle and loyal 3-year-old Terrier mix, and I’m here to bring a little magic into your life!I’m a medium-sized Terrier mix with a beautiful brown coat, weighing about 18 kg (40 lbs). I was rescued from a high-risk shelter in Cheongju, and now I’m safe and ready to find my forever family. I’m fully vaccinated, spayed, and healthy, with a sweet nature and a calm spirit. Though I may need a little time to warm up to new people and places, I promise that once I trust you, I’ll be your most loyal companion.   My PersonalityI can be a little shy when meeting new people, but if you have treats, you’ll quickly win me over! Once I feel comfortable, I’ll show my trust by rolling over and inviting belly rubs. While I’m happy to show my softer side, I prefer gentle handling and may need some time to feel comfortable with unfamiliar hands, especially on my legs or belly. With a little patience, I’ll come to trust you completely and enjoy all the affection you have to offer.   Social SkillsI’m polite and friendly with other dogs, especially those close to my size, though I don’t always engage in play. High-energy dogs can be a bit overwhelming for me, but I’m happy to coexist peacefully. I’ve never shown aggression and prefer to avoid conflicts if another dog challenges me. When it comes to humans, I’m all about building trust—let me come to you at my own pace, and I’ll soon be your best friend. While I don’t guard my food from people, I might give a soft growl if another dog comes too close to my meal. I’m a calm, friendly companion who loves harmony.   Energy and ActivitiesI have a moderate energy level. I love going on walks to explore and burn off energy, and after some outdoor time, I’m content to relax at home. While I may pull a bit on the leash, I follow my human’s lead and stay close. I also handle new environments and sounds best with a bit of time to adjust, so introducing me gradually to unfamiliar settings will help me feel safe and secure. I’m flexible with potty training, comfortable using both indoor pads and going outside, making me adaptable to different living arrangements.   Training and HabitsI’m a sweet, loyal companion who just needs a little patience to blossom. I don’t bark much and am calm and well-behaved in a kennel. Though I’m not a fan of baths and may lightly protest, if you take it slow and gentle, I’ll cooperate and trust you.
