My story

Meet Strider, a well-mannered and playful Greyhound who loves his toys and is a great companion on walks. He responds to his name and walks beautifully on leash, making him a joy to take out and about. Strider is a calm traveler, settling in easily on car trips. While he’s not cat-workable, he did meet Sprout, a Jack Russell, during his assessment and showed a moment of interest, but quickly moved on after a friendly sniff. Strider’s easy-going nature and good behavior make him an ideal companion for someone looking for a friendly, active dog with a calm demeanor. Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue. We consider applicants who live in Illinois within the area that our volunteers can service, which extends approximately 75 miles from Carol Stream, IL.
