My story

I’m Ryder, and I'm 3 years old. I came to the shelter after my first owner got into some trouble back in 2023. Since then, I’ve been adopted a few times, but things just haven’t worked out - most recently because my human passed away unexpectedly. I miss having a place to call home, and I’m hoping you might be the one to change that for me. I’m a sweet, smart boy who loves people. I’m housebroken and walk really well on a harness. Adventures are my jam - whether it’s a hike, a car ride, or just a long stroll! I do have a little storm anxiety, so I’d appreciate a safe, cozy spot to ride out the thunder. I get along with dogs who can keep up with my high energy, but I should be the only pet in the home. What I need most is consistency, love, and someone who won’t give up on me. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe my best days are ahead.
