My story

Adoption Event Schedule Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations: 2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express 3rd Saturday, Modesto - PetSmart 4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express Please visit the GCGSR Rescue Page for specific address information. Adoption Fee $300   Ember is a 2 year old  Petite girl, weighing about 45 pounds.  She is a social butterfly, and has eagerly greeted everyone she has met thus far.  She is housebroken,  and crate trained.     This little spark is sharp as a whip, and is willing to please.  She loves a good game of fetch, and playing with other playful dogs.  Ember will readily jump in a car for a road trip, and will settle in the house nicely.     Ember currently is living on a ranch setting with several other dogs.   She sleeps quietly in her crate at night after a day of running around the farm.  She likes to chase birds, so no small furry critters for her.  She has a good recall and knows how to sit.  She could benefit from more basic training.   Ember is looking for a family that would include her in their daily activities.   Cats and small critters unknown,    Level 2 Understanding Dog Levels Please be sure you understand what a dog of this Level requires. (https://www.gcgsr.org/adopt_info.html) We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
