My story

Melbourne is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a calm demeanor and an adventurous spirit. He is currently being fostered at an indoor/outdoor boarding facility in Seguin, TX, but he’s eagerly awaiting a foster or adoptive home where he can thrive. Melbourne is an affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys being part of their lives. Whether it’s joining you for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out in the backyard, he’s always ready for an adventure. His laid-back nature makes him easy to have around, but he also has the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with an active lifestyle. Although Melbourne is friendly with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in his home, where he can soak up all the attention. He thrives in a structured environment and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal companion to share it with. Melbourne’s calm and adaptable nature means he can settle in easily, whether it’s a relaxed evening at home or an exciting day out. He’s looking for a family or individual who will appreciate his affectionate personality and adventurous side. If you’re ready to provide Melbourne with the loving home he deserves, he’s ready to fill your life with companionship, joy, and plenty of memorable adventures. Could you be the one to give Melbourne his forever home? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Melbourne click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-549 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Melbourne, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
