My story

Vixie is a 1 year old Hound mix, whose radiant smile is sure to make you smile too! She is new to adoption, and has already shown herself to be sweet, friendly, and SO happy to be with people. Vixie is full of joy and affection, and would love to share it with her new family. She enjoys going on leash walks, getting pets from her favorite person, or simply soaking up the sun together.  As the pictures show, her smile is contagious … and even better, so is her joy. Please meet Vixie soon, and welcome this sweet pup into your life - you will be so happy that you did! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.March 24, 2025, 12:29 am
