My story

UPDATE: Help Tucker find a loving home by fostering him for American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue! They have agreed to help Tucker find a home if we can find a foster who meets their requirements. They find the best homes for their dogs and we'd very much like to see Tucker in their program. Tucker is a striking 78-pound Plott Hound/Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a stunning brindle coat and eye-catching white accents. Born around December 2023, he’s still very much a playful pup—full of energy, heart, and curiosity. Tucker was found as a stray on Blockhouse Road, but he hasn’t let that dampen his joyful spirit. He loves playing with other dogs and is remarkably good on a leash, especially for a big young dog. With his strength and enthusiasm, he’ll thrive with someone who enjoys active adventures and cuddle-filled downtime in equal measure. Tucker is ready to leave his rough start behind and find a forever home where he’ll be loved and appreciated for the big-hearted, beautiful boy he is.
