My story

Hi there, I'm Hazel! I'm a happy-go-lucky girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I’m the kind of pup who makes friends everywhere I go – I enjoy the company of other dogs and even tolerate those mysterious creatures called kitties. I do have a little zest in my playtime and like to roughhouse with my dog pals, but don’t worry – I’m great at taking direction. Whether it’s my people gently guiding me or my furry friends setting the rules, I’m quick to adjust my play style so that everyone has a good time. When it’s time to wind down, I turn into a first-rate cuddler. Nothing makes me happier than curling up next to my people for some love and attention. I’m a people-pleaser through and through, which makes me a dream when it comes to training. I’m always eager to make you happy, and I’m ready to learn whatever you want to teach me! Now, I’m crate-trained, but if I’m being honest, it’s not my favorite place. I’ll settle in when needed, but I’d much rather be near you. I’m also house-trained, though storms make me a little nervous, and sometimes I forget to ask to go out when the weather’s not ideal. I know you can help me build up my confidence – I’m a work in progress, and I promise I’m worth it. I’m an all-around good girl with medium energy, a loving spirit, and a playful heart. Whether you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, a playmate for your dog, or a loyal companion for life, I’m your girl.
