Raimi Marie

My story

Raimi is a young, beautiful, happy, smart. active black lab mix who was rescued from death row at the county shelter. Shortly after arriving at Jelly's, Raimi surprised us by giving birth to 3 puppies. Raimi was a wonderful and loving mom and never got impatient or grumpy with her baby. Raimi LOVES other dogs and is a wonderful mentor to younger dogs. She enjoys participating in our informal agility course, especially when treats are involved. She knows the sit and down commands and is currently working on stay. Raimi likes soft, pushy toys and running around patrolling her queendom. Raimi is NOT a first time adopter dog. She is initially very shy and nervous when meeting new people, particularly men. She needs an experienced and patient adopter who will go slowly with her and earn her trust. Once she knows she is safe and loved, she will return that love unconditionally. The ideal home for Raimi would be an active adult family, with a big yard and another dog. Another dog is a must.
