ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 35 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: BJ mostly sniffs around the yard and engages periodically with other dogs. KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! KNOWN WITH KIDS: Probably would be fine with older kids. KNOWN COMMANDS: None currently known. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING &/OR CRATING: They seem to do okay going into a crate and settling down after some time. KNOWN LIKES: Sniffing, playing with toys, exploring, looking out windows. KNOWN DISLIKES: None currently known. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: BJ is a sweet and gentle soul who's gracefully enjoying his golden years. With a friendly spirit and a heart full of love, BJ gets along well with other dogs and appreciates a calm, respectful environment. One of his favorite pastimes is exploring the yard with his nose to the ground, taking in all the scents like he's reading a good book. Though BJ has some hearing and visual impairments, he navigates life with quiet confidence and does remarkably well. He can be a little protective when it comes to food and treats, so he thrives best with a bit of understanding and patience during mealtimes. BJ may be a senior, but his love is timeless — he’s looking for a peaceful home where he can enjoy cozy naps, slow walks, and lots of affection. BJ tested positive for heartworm but has completed his treatment is on his way to good health.
