My story

An interview with Theo! If I were a food, I’d be:  A potato  - I’m a mix of couch potato, sweet potato, and sack of potatoes   What does my perfect evening look like?  It’s couch time!!  Let’s binge-watch the next show on your list! I’m happiest when:  I’m exploring during a walk (gotta find those squirrels!) Special talents:  Every night I ninja my way onto foster mom and dad’s bed in the middle of the night.  They never hear, see, or feel me climb in.  Stealth mode! Are you a morning person?  No way! Once I’m in that bed, I don’t want to get out!  You want to sleep in until 10 AM? I’m down. Are you house trained? Absolutely, 100% Favorite toy:  Nylabone Chew Bone.  As far as other toys, meh. I’ll play with a ball, frisbee, or rope toy if you really want to, but let’s keep it brief. Favorite snacks: Cheese, Reddi-Wip, Apples My ideal home:  I love spending time with people, so I’d really like a family where someone will be home for most of the day.   Meet Theo!  An approx. 3 yr old hound mix. Theo’s foster family says:  Theo is a big marshmallow that just wants love and kindness.  He will gently rest his head (and sometimes half his body!) in your lap and use those big brown eyes (and a gentle slap with his paw) to politely ask for some love. Do you appreciate peace and quiet? – Theo rarely barks.  He is very well-behaved, super chill, and low-maintenance.  Theo’s personality shines during walks where he loves to explore, sniff, and track stuff (but he will “heel” if asked).    Theo can get a little worried when he is left alone. He’s making great progress on this and needs an understanding family who can continue to work with him to become more independent and who has time to be home with him for most of the day.  If you’re looking for a sweet, tender-hearted soul who oozes love, Theo is your boy!
