My story

“Whoa, Nelly!”Life sure has been a ride for this stunning feline! Nelly has spent her entire life as a colony cat and we bet she has a good “tail” or two to tell! While this sweet little lady has enjoyed some great outdoor adventures, she is now ready to kick back (indoors!) and enjoy some well-deserved R&R.ABOUT NELLY- In foster- Nelly is described by her foster mom as a shy, sweet, and affectionate on her terms.- Nelly is a bit of an explorer, often checking things out and playing with toys she finds lying around. - She is food motivated and will enjoy a treat along with some head and chin rubs by hand.- This gorgeous kitty likes to greet her foster mom with a side rub when she comes home from work.- Nelly cuddles with her sibling, Shade. They seem to be close buddies. She lives contentedly with another resident cat.- Nelly is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.NELLY’S IDEAL HOME- Good with other cats, unsure about dogs or young children.- Ideally, Nelly would be adopted with her colony sibling (Shade) or with another feline companion.- Nelly would do best with a human companion who is willing to give her the time, space, and attention she so desires.- Her forever family will feed Nelly a special gastric diet to prevent stomach upsets.
