🚨 Meet Eponine Coco – The Cuddle Queen & Zoomie Champion! 🚨 🐾 Weight: 36 lbs of pure love 🐾 Breed: Black Mix (aka “The Shadow”) 🐾 Age: 2 years, 6 months (old enough to know better, young enough for mischief!) 🐾 Heartworm Status: Negative (no worms, just wiggles!) Eponine is in a foster home and ready to find her forever family! 💕 🏃‍♀️ Personality & Quirks: ✔️ Olympic-level zoomies—this girl lives to run! ✔️ Cuddle queen—your lap = her throne! ✔️ Knows sit & come but prefers face kisses over personal space! 😆 ✔️ A little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’s all in! ✔️ Dog-tolerant & cat-friendly—a social butterfly in the making! 🎾 Fetch Enthusiast: If you’ve got a ball, you’ve got her! Fetch isn’t a game to Eponine—it’s a lifestyle. 💔 Her Story: Eponine was previously adopted but returned due to her family’s eviction—not because of anything she did. She is loveable and likes to cuddle. Eponine knows "stop" and "come". On 12/14/24 I visited Eponine in her kennel. She was laying at the front, curled up, trembling. I offered treats, but she showed no interest. I moved slowly and quietly and opened the door and she stood and shifted away from me. I tried to offer treats again and call to her. She was visible trembling and exhibiting fret/fidget behavior. FAS 4 eval submitted On 12/20/24 I visited Eponine at her kennel. She was curled up on the floor, trembling. I tossed treats which she seemed interested in and slowly ate. When I opened her door, she slowly moved away from me. I tossed more treats and she came closer to me, but would not take them by hand. On 12/31/24 Eponine met another dog. She was timid in kennel, but opened up to being friendly and social outside. She was a completely different dog; readily approaching me and jumping up for pets and attention. When she met the other dog, she was avoidant and uninterested. She showed some interest in greeting the other dog, but was unsure. She took correction well from other dogs.
