My story

Friends, meet Marie! She has the cutest anime eyes and the softest fur. She's a very affectionate girl who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she will be your best friend. She’ll rub your legs and arch her back for pets, especially enjoying gentle chin scratches. She also loves to snuggle up in her foster mom's lap and binge watch Netflix. Marie is food and treat motivated, especially when it comes to wet food, Churus, and Temptations treats. She loves to play with wand toys and enjoys her hooded beds and cardboard scratcher houses. Marie seems curious about other cats and would likely do well with a feline friend in her forever home, as long as the other cat is respectful and she is given a proper introduction. She would do best in a dog-free home or one with a dog that respects her space. Marie has come a long way since being found abandoned in a laundry basket at a shelter. She was once very shy and couldn’t be petted without getting overstimulated, but now she’s become a lap cat and enjoys spending time with her humans. Marie will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to continue thriving.
