My story

To learn more about Leena, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Meet Leena, our gal from North Carolina! She weighs a healthy 45 lbs, a good weight for her size! Leena is still adjusting to her life here in Virginia after relocating due to the flooding in NC late last year. She is a beautiful hound just entering her prime at over a year old! Leena is a loving, engaging dog that craves attention and will lean on you for pets. The more pets, the better for Leena. She has been generally calm and dignified, displaying a serene personality while being harnessed and while out on walks. She has been interested in saying hi to her potential human and canine friends because she is just a friendly and open girl! Leena can sometimes be uncertain in new situations, but who isn't! She will look to her human for reassurance and go on her merry way. Bringing Leena home means you will have a lifelong companion that simply wants attention and love all the time. Leena has come to us microchipped and is ready to find her new home.
