Please note that applicants are still required to follow our adoption process and meet the requirements of this pet in order to be approved to adopt**IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:64 pounds and growing!HOME TYPE:Any possibleCHILDREN:No - must be an adult only home - does not know his size and needs lots of work on difficult behavioursCATS & SMALL ANIMALS:No - Large dog that plays roughOTHER DOGS:Yes - potentially compatible with other dog ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:A family with large dog experience necessary TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:Minimum 3 in-person training sessions to work on the following; Basic training, Basic manners (Jumping up, mouthing, self control), Socialization, Bite InhibitionHUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social loves to say hello to everyoneFAVOURITE THINGS:Treats and spending all of his time by your sideFOSTER AND FIELD TRIP INSIDER INFO: (please note that dogs may behave different in foster`s care than adopter`s care and the following cannot be guaranteed)HOUSE TRAINING:Unknown at this time.CAR MANNERS:Very well behaved. He laid down in the back seat nicely. He loves to poke his head out the window! He also confidently went inside the car and out. LEASH MANNERS / ON WALK MANNERS:He still needs some manners but Bear listens well with treats. He does pull out of excitement and happiness! CRATE TRAINING:Unknown at this time.KNOWN TRAINING CUES:He knows sit! He is very treat motived, and can learn anything with consistency. HUMAN SOCIAL:He is so friendly! Bear loves all people.
