Please contact Lindsey Cope (lindseyc@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Beautiful grey looking for her forever home!ODETTE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!Check out my cuteness on Instagram at @luckydog_fosters_lf Name: Odette Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 2.5 years (Est. DOB: 4/25/2022) SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 10.5 lbs a/o March 2025 Coloring: Grey tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Odette seems to thrive as the only pet in the home. She may be able to live with older, cat-savvy kids. Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area! I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Odette, a sweet tabby girl. I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and a sunny place to nap. And maybe a few toys too! What My Foster Says About Me: Odette is a people’s cat, she very much loves to be around us and doesn’t shy away from some action. We have a large family with older kids, and Odette enjoyes this type of environment, as regularly someone passes who would play with her. And she is still very playful, even at 2.5 years old. She is very good at playing by herself, too. She regularly has zoomies and loves to run up and down the stairs. If she would end up in an apartment, she would surely need extra entertainment to keep her balanced. She does have her quiet time also for sure! She’s an expert at loafing. Odette is a very curious and smart cat, sometimes I think she understands what I’m saying. Also, she has a soft thicker teddybear like coat.Odette is food motivated and that is where she needs an adopter who knows what is good for her: Odette is always happy to eat and we have noticed that she needs to be on a strict schedule. This way she understands that there’s only food at certain times. If not on a strict schedule, Odette can become a bit mean if you’re not giving her the food that she wants. We have had her on a schedule/diet for about 10 days, and things are so much better.Odette is most of the time very easy going: you can pick her up, pet and cuddle her, play with her, touch her belly. You can do things a lot of other cats don’t like. But an adopter should be able to read her cues: when it’s close to feeding time or she’s just a bit annoyed, you should leave her alone.Odette only uses the scratching posts in the house, no scratching on furniture so far! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this cat is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.
