My story

Herman and Jack are an inseparable bonded pair of two-year-old German Shepherd mixes who are searching for a loving forever home together. Herman weighs 46 pounds, while Jack is slightly smaller at 43 pounds. Both dogs are shy and reserved when alone, making it challenging for them to engage with people. However, together they thrive, showing a playful and curious side that will delight you. When they’re together, Herman and Jack approach people more confidently and enjoy being petted. Their playtime is full of energy yet never aggressive, as they take breaks and coexist very nicely. They share toys without resource guarding and accept treats politely, demonstrating their sweet and gentle nature. These two would make a wonderful addition to a home with an adopter experienced in the German Shepherd breed. A securely fenced yard is essential to ensure they have a safe space to play and explore. Watching their friendship in action is pure joy, and they’ll bring double the love to their new family. Herman and Jack’s combined adoption fee of $350 covers their spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
