My story

Sweet Fawn came to the shelter with a litter of puppies in tow and showed herself to be an incredibly gentle and devoted mama. This girl is a gem and after caring for her own puppies, she`s ready for someone to dote on her!One of Fawn’s volunteer friends shared:“Fawn is a beautiful, sweet, and tender girl! She loves and craves human attention and interaction! She does well with her kennelmate in the play yard. She`s ready to leash in her kennel; once in the yard she will go potty and then come over to you for all the treats and snuggles! Fawn is an amazing, very good girl!When Fawn first came into the shelter, a staff member spent some time with her and shared:“Fawn is super food motivated. She learned quickly when I said the word `gentle` and held a treat in an open hand; by the time I was done hanging out with her she was taking small treats politely. I entered her kennel and gave her and her puppies space, but she was quick to approach me seeking affection. She was incredibly sweet, and I had zero issues with handling her puppies after only a few minutes. Overall Fawn was a lovely mama dog!”Fawn shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a food fit. Fawn is looking for a furever home where she will be welcomed into the family home and shown the meaning of the “good life;” hopefully that will include lots of pampering and love!
