Moana

My story

Moana presented to HSOC on November 25th. A good samaritan had been feeding her and noticed a mass around her vagina. She was assessed and had surgery to be spayed and remove the mass. Testing confirmed that her mass came back as a locally invasive cancer (leiomyosarcoma). Her options were further surgical resection or radiation. Neither of these were good options due to the location and being so closely involved with her urethra. Moana needs a fospice home so she can be provided the best quality of life. She is currently doing well and is comfortable. She is approximately 3 years old and a very sweet girl.
