My story

Great news! My heartworm treatment is sponsored, meaning much of the cost of my heartworm treatment will be covered! Adopt me today so I can begin my treatment.Volunteer Notes from Dog Day out:We took Kris (A560751) on an outing yesterday and he had the best time! He was a little confused on how to get the car at first, but with a little help he hopped right in! He was a perfect gentleman in the car. Sat nicely in the backseat and enjoyed looking out the window. Our first stop was a Sniffspot. He loved sniffing and exploring his new surroundings. We found a ball and a tug toy to play with. And of course he made time for lounging on the couch!We had worked up a little appetite so we stopped at Starbucks on the way back to the shelter. Kris loves his first pup cup! The weather was beautiful and Kris was loving just watching the world from the Starbucks patio so we hung out for a while. Kris became the unofficial greeter of Starbucks, he loves meeting new people! He was also very respectful and listened when there were a few people who didn’t want to say hi. And it wouldn’t be a day with Kris if we didn’t get some cuddles, he climbed right up into both mine and Maria’s laps (with invitation) and loved being held!I`m really not sure why Kris hasn`t been adopted already! He`s truly the sweetest boy!Additional behavior notes:Great in the car! He tried to put his front paws up on the console at the beginning but with some redirection into the back seat he stayed there the rest of the timeVery friendly and social! It was his first time meeting Maria and he said hello to a few people at Starbucks.He played with a large tennis ball at the Sniffspot and enjoyed chewing on it but would trade for treats. Upon returning to the shelter he went nose to nose with another dog at the fence, kept loose body language and walked away on his own.
