My story

`Hi! My name is Joey (although my foster parents affectionately call me Crash after Crash Bandicoot) and I am looking for my new best friend. Could it be you? I had a rough start to life when my owner passed away, that was really hard for me and I got passed around a bit before being rescued. My foster parents have had me for six months now and in that time I have become such a happy, playful dog. I LOVE playing with my foster siblings, two huskies and a small terrier. I am great with other dogs big and small and want every dog I meet to be my friend. I love going to doggy daycare and have a blast running around all day with my dog friends there. I like going on walks and I walk well on the leash. I have really liked exploring local parks and trails with my foster brother and think that it would be great if I could go on lots of fun adventures!I am great in the car and enjoy going on road trips too. I took a road trip to Southern California and was so good and well behaved in the car. I also love pup cups and wish I could eat them every day! I am fully potty trained and will let you know when I need to go outside. I have done really well with crate training and I enjoy hanging out in my crate, I like to go in there to take naps. I also LOVE toys! My foster mom gets Bark Box and my foster brother and I have so much fun playing with them. I know how to `sit`, `shake`, and `wait` and I learn new things really quickly. I am also very snuggly and want to be with you on the couch or the hammock or wherever, I just love attention. I am still a young dog so you do have to keep an eye on me around food, I have been known to sneak food off the counter or out of the garbage at times but I am still learning. I would do best in a home that has other dog friend/s for me to play with. I am a husky so I need a yard with a solid fence and regular exercise, no apartment living for me. I am pretty chatty so I do talk to you and share my opinions! I don`t think I would do well with cats, I like to chase bugs and anything moving so cats would probably not be a good idea. I`d do best with kids six and up since I don`t always know my size and sometimes jump on people. My adoption fee is $340 and I am fully vaccinated and vetted. I have been in foster care a long time and would really love a home of my own. Could it be yours?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Joey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
