My story

Born approximately August 13th 2024 Oscar is a male chihuahua mix seeking a forever home. Here is a little bit about him: he is a parvo survivor- he was found tossed inside a dumpster (most likely because they knew he was sick) Lucky for him, a kind lady found him and pulled him out, she contacted ARFS and they tested him for parvo. With a positive Parvo diagnosis, they reached out to us. Oscar is named for the Sesame Street Character who lives in a garbage can by choice, Our Oscar much prefers life inside a house 😊 comfy couch and warm blankets! His foster mom says Oscar is energetic and sassy and can be vocal. He gets along with cats but likes to pick his canine companions. Oscar would thrive as the only dog as he yearns for nothing more than human affection. He is eating from a slow bowl feeder since he's highly food-motivated and eats quickly. He is crate trained, mostly house broken and is working on leash manners. Oscars ideal forever home would be one with a securely fenced yard, and if there are children on the home, over the age of 5.
