My story

Hi!!! I'm Nivea!My favorite things are crinkle toys, humans (all shapes and sizes), cats, dogs, running around outside, food, and cuddling! Sometimes, this world can be a little too overwhelming for me, but with a routine and some time to adjust, I turn into your typical puppy! You wouldn't know it, but I can't see very well and I can't really hear. Don't let that discourage you, I promise I make up for it with my fun-loving personality and lots of cuddles.  Because of my impairments, I sometimes get anxious when I'm alone. A home where someone in my family is with me more often than not is ideal! I just don't like being alone most of the time.  I'm learning some touch training commands, and I'm learning where to go to the bathroom. Leash walking is so much fun too!! I just like to run, especially in circles!! My foster mom says that's not ideal most days, so she is helping me learn how to walk properly too.
