My story

Please contact Greyhound Pets, Inc. Woodinville (info@greyhoundpetsinc.org) for more information about this pet.DennisTag No: 6723Registered Name: Arkans SkymanBreed: GreyhoundDate of Birth:  July 3, 2017Color: FawnCat Trainable: NoDog Friendly: See CommentsKid Friendly: NoWeight:  84 lbsLocation: Woodinville, WA (Kennel)Comments:  Dennis is a very sweet boy who has never met someone he didn't love.  He is a velcro dog who is happiest leaning on his person.  He enjoys short explorations outside, but quickly loses interest and wants to go back to his person.  He is indifferent to toys and opportunities to play with other dogs, but will show off his goofball play behaviors when he is excited.  While he struggles to retain what he learns, he builds trust quickly and is easy to lead him to a goal even when he can't get there himself.  Dennis was in a home and returned due to some aggression issues.  Dennis has blossomed in the care of our trainer and volunteers, and knows quite a few commands.  Dennis needs a home with a fenced yard (no apartments/condos/townhomes) so he is able to stretch his legs and get some exercise.  He has a fear of cars, but we are working with him on feeling more comfortable with vehicles and the big, wide world.  Dennis will do best in a calm, adult only home, with an adopter who can continue his training and respect his signals.  Dennis has shown us that he is clearly not interested in playing with other dogs, but he may be ok with another calm dog that is not interested in a lot of engagement. We would love to talk to you some more about Dennis. Can't adopt just now?  No problem.  You can still help Dennis or any of GPI's dogs by sponsoring until the dog finds his or her forever family.  Details here: https://greyhoundpetsinc.org/support/sponsor-a-dog/ Greyhound Pets, Inc. - www.greyhoundpetsinc.org - 877-468-7681 WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ADOPT A GREYHOUND?
