My story

Dorothy was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list—with six tiny puppies depending on her. Her pups are all adopted, and now it’s her turn to find a forever home! Around 2 years old, Dorothy is the perfect mix of calm and playful. She’s potty trained, knows basic commands (in English AND Spanish!), and walks great on a leash. She loves cuddles, playtime, and tasty treats! This sweet girl is so full of love and truly such a special, loving dog!  She’s amazing other dogs, and loves playtime with all of her foster siblings! While we haven’t tested her with cats, she’s got the most gentle, loving personality and we doubt she would have any issue! She is also wonderful with kids. Dorothy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment, and has been handling it gracefully, and will be ready for adoption once she’s finished at the end of May! Until then, she’s soaking up all the love she can and enjoying the extra treats that awards her! If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share life’s adventures, Dorothy might be your girl!
