My story

I am a long-term dog resident here at the Champaign County Humane Society! What does that mean? It means I have been available for adoption for over 90 days and am more than ready to find my forever home! In fact, the shelter is waiving my adoption fee for any approved applicant. Please stop by the shelter during open hours to visit with me! Meet Lil Bit! She's a nearly 2-year-old pit mix and has lots of puppy energy. She loves to play fetch, tug, and play with other dogs. She also loves to cuddle with her favorite human. If you're looking for an adventurous companion, come visit Lil Bit at CCHS! She's eager to meet you and become your best friend. Lil Bit is a STAFF FAVORITE pet! Here's what adoption staff member, Sage has to say about her: What I love about Lil Bit is her sweet nature and how playful she can be! While she can be shy at first, when she is comfortable, she really is such a loving and affectionate dog. She also really enjoys any opportunity to play and to receive belly rubs. I feel like she would make a wonderful addition to a family due to her loyal, trusting, and gentle nature.
