My story

Dolly is a four-month-old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix looking for her for real forever home. This sweet girl was recently returned to the shelter because her family no longer had time for her due to a new baby. Her recent foster family noted that she is affectionate, friendly, and playful and did great with the family’s cats and dogs and also with their children who are both quite young. At the shelter she can be a little nervous about new people but once she recognizes your face, her nerves quickly turn to play bows and jumps on the fence for pets. She loves to play with her run mates and hasn’t met a toy she didn’t like. She also LOVES treats! Dolly would love a gentle guiding hand to show her how to be a sweet girl in the world that seems to have not yet had time for her. A family to call her very own would give her just the confidence she needs to become the sweet girl we know she is.
