My story

Tiger T our VERY handsome big 9 year old boy is a bit of a mystery. We didn't originally adopt him out to his owner but, we did help his owner get him fixed eight years ago at the spay/neuter clinic we go to. As a result, he has a TCR purchased microchip. In early December he ended up in a shelter several counties away from the Trenton area, they scanned his chip and it led to us. His owner's phone is not in service anymore and we haven't been able to find her any way we tried. We have absolutely no idea why he was found outside all alone.  So, we grabbed this wonderful boy and he is in our care now. Tiger is FIV+ but as we always tell everyone that is no big deal (we'd be glad to explain to anyone interested in Tiger).  We really wish this guy could talk and tell us what happened to him, he had a home for nine years and then....we don't know. He does well with other cats as long as they respect his boundaries. If he does live with other cats, he wants to basically just live with them in peace - in particular, we have found he does especially well with more docile cats like his foster sister. However, we think he would do best as an only kitty. His foster family said he is just a big boy who speaks his mind - come see him at an adoption event to see what we mean! - and has no problem letting you know if he's not happy or is done being pet (or wants to be fed), but he also does love to play and absolutely LOVES cat dancers (not to mention laser pointers). It's obvious he was very loved. All we know now is that we'd like to get him the very best home ever.      If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!May 16, 2025, 12:09 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tiger T, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
