My story
Meet Ivan! He`s an adorable 9-year-old cat who is currently our longest-stay shelter pet — fortunately, he hasn`t spent that entire time IN the shelter! Ivan is currently living in a foster home that reports he`s a `gentle guy who is happiest when with his people.` Ivan was hiding and shut down at the shelter, so we are grateful to his foster family for giving him the chance to show his true personality. Ivan will need an adopter willing to give him the time to settle in during the transition to a new home, and in return they will get a snuggly and affectionate new friend who is great with other cats and dogs. We are looking to place Ivan directly from his foster home so he doesn`t have a stressful return to the shelter. If you`re interested in this bashful boy, please reach out to us at paws@myhswm.org
