My story

Meet Blizzard, a Budding Blossom Needing a Patient Gardener Blizzard is a 4 month old Pitmix puppy with a heart of gold, but right now, that heart is feeling a bit overwhelmed by the world. This sweet pup is still learning to trust humans and other dogs and may need a little extra time and patience to blossom into her full potential. Her foster home has become her safe space and she loves playing with her foster brothers and is confident and playful. When she ventures outside her foster home is where her confidence wavers. Her foster home is taking her on frequent outings, mostly to Home Depot, where she is gaining confidence but still needs her space, the whole team of Home Depot employees continue to root for her and are respecting her space. She may be shy at first, maybe even a bit scared. But with gentle encouragement and a whole lot of love, Blizzard will slowly begin to bloom. What Blizzard Needs in a Forever Home: -A Patient and Understanding Owner: Someone who understands that building trust takes time. No sudden movements, loud noises, or forced interactions. -A Quiet and Calm Environment: A home without young children or other pets might be best initially. A low-stress environment will help Blizzard feel safe and secure. -Positive Reinforcement Training: Gentle and rewarding training methods are crucial. Focus on building confidence and positive associations with humans. Why Choose Blizzard? Blizzard is a unique and special soul.
