My story

** Fostered in New Holland, PA and ready for Meet and Greets** Meet Kitana Dani, a 5-month-old sweetheart with a classy black and white coat and the cutest folded ears. Believed to be a Pittie/Lab mix (though it’s always a guess with rescue), Kitana is the perfect mix of playful, gentle, and smart. Currently fostered in a loving home with two young kids (ages 6 and 7), two dogs, and two cats, Kitana is thriving. She loves romping around with her doggy siblings and is always ready for a play session—but she also does great with structured nap times to recharge her puppy battery. When it comes to the cats, she may get curious and try to play, but she’s always gentle and respectful. Kitana is potty and kennel trained and is working on adding even more skills to her repertoire. She already knows “sit,” “stay,” and “wait” (especially for dinner), and her foster family says she’s eager to learn. A fenced yard where she can run to her heart’s content would make her very happy. Kitana would do great in a family that’s ready to keep up with her puppy energy and continue her training and socialization as she grows. Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
