My story

***Prime's adoption fee has been sponsored*** Does your life need a transformation? Are you in need of more joy, more fun, more cuddles, and more fetch? Well, luckily for you, Optimus Prime is available for adoption! At eight years young, Prime has none of those annoying puppy habits. He’s house-trained, doing well with crate-training, and knows how to settle. That doesn’t mean this guy isn’t fun though -- in fact, we are pretty sure Prime found the fountain of youth! He will play for hours if you’ll indulge him, and fetch is his favorite game. He’s also happy to entertain himself with a chew toy or two while you’re busy. Prime makes an excellent adventure buddy, regardless of your speed or style of life. He is a dream on car rides and is great and adaptable on leash, doing well in the noisy city and in quieter areas. Everywhere is a good place to sniff, after all! Prime makes a great companion and is extremely eager to please. Learning new tricks and skills is his jam, especially when he earns a "Good boy!" and a treat. At night, Prime’s favorite place to be is under the covers with you, though he’ll happily snooze in his dog bed or in his crate if you prefer. He’s an excellent cuddler and a very affectionate dog. If you adopt Prime, he’ll reward you mannnyyyyy kisses furever. Prime became a Perfectly Paired Pittie after ending up on a euthanasia list at the DC shelter at no fault of his own, and he’s ready for a fresh start from his rough past. He could do well in a forever home with other dogs, if given a slow intro (he has a history of being attacked by another dog twice, so he requires time -- we'll give you tips!). We also think he could do well in a home with cats if given a proper introduction. Prime might do best in a home without younger kids due to their unpredictable natures. As Prime’s foster said, this dog is “a treasure and will provide endless love to his forever family.” Could that be you? Apply today to adopt him! ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. That said, we cannot guarantee that any dog is housebroken or crate trained and cannot promise any specifics regarding an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or other conditions. Our adoption fee does not fully cover all vetting, medical care, food, supplies, or training costs. As we depend on donations to provide for the animals in our care, we are unable to reduce or refund the adoption fee. TO DONATE: Please visit our website at www.https://perfectlypairedpitties.org/Donate/ to make a donation. Your contribution will help Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3) continue providing essential medical treatment and training for our dogs. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3SWUDUK4A8UKH?ref_=wl_share

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Optimus Prime, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
