My story

Hi. I'm Druscilla but my foster mom just calls me Dru. I was originally taken in by an extremely kind vet. He got me all healthy but I acted a bit feral at first (I'm totally not but I was absolutely TERRIFIED) but he saw the gem I was under my scaredy cat exterior so I lived there for about a year as the clinic cat. I became the staff favorite and was beloved by all, but they knew I deserved a real home and a chance to fully blossom into the sweetie pie I am, and that's how I ended up at St. Sophia's! Now don't get me wrong, we aren't going to be besties right away, whoever adopts me has to understand I will take time to warm up and build trust with them, but once I do, oh are you in for one special and lovey chunky lady. It took about a month for me to soften up to my foster mom but I absolutely adore her now. I can be a little skittish with quick movements and I do NOT life to be picked up. Seriously I grow like forty legs, but I love to be near you and with you. I come to my foster mom and dad when they make kissy noises at me and if you scratch the spot right above my tail I will raise my booty like an elevater and turn around and make the cutest noise at you to let you know I'm loving the butt scratchies. I sleep in bed with my foster humans, other cats, foster kittens, and even the super laid back chihuahua. If you give me a chance, you'll see I'm an absolute doll who loves pets and people (and other cats and even chill dogs) and would fit in almost any home but I would thrive in a calmer and quieter home without small kids since I startle easy with loud noises. Druscilla is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, treated for worms, and combo-tested negative for FIV/Leuk.  Her adoption fee is $125. For more information, please call or text 847-773-7639 or email info.stsff@gmail.com. Please note: We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into your home within 3 days of applying. ##2228328##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Druscilla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
